Terms of Service

What you're buying
ByPath is a software service that surfaces publicly available social-media posts matching a buyer-intent description you provide. It does NOT guarantee leads, sales, or any specific business outcome. We provide signals — what you do with them is up to you.
Acceptable use
You agree:
- Not to use ByPath data for bulk automated outreach (spam)
- Not to harass, stalk, or threaten people surfaced by ByPath
- Not to use ByPath in industries where outreach to revealed personal life events is illegal (debt collection without consent, certain financial products)
- To respect each platform's own Terms when contacting people there
- To honor opt-out requests from people who don't want to receive your messages
Violation = immediate account termination, no refund.
Billing
7-day free trial, no card required to start. After trial you can pick a plan: Starter $39/mo, Pro $79/mo, Business $149/mo. Annual plans get 20% off. You can cancel anytime in /v11/billing → Manage subscription — no calls, no emails, one click. Refunds for unused service prorated within 14 days of upgrade.
Pay-as-you-go items
Beyond your monthly bundle: extra contact enrichments are $0.15 each. Burst-search ("Find now") clicks beyond your monthly free allowance are $0.50 each. You always see the price before clicking. No surprise charges.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee: (a) any particular volume of signals per day/week, (b) accuracy of contact enrichments, (c) availability of all 13 supported social platforms at all times (platforms change their APIs without notice). If volume or accuracy isn't working for your niche, email us at hello@bypath.app within 30 days — we'll either retune your search at no cost or refund the month.
Liability cap
Our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the trailing 12 months. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are resolved in courts of London, UK.
